Aside from designing, I am a huge sumo wrestling fan, avid gamer, Sony camera fan-boy, Japanese language student, stationary nerd, and coffee addict.

WHAT BROUGHT ME TO DESIGN.
Before my transition into UX, I was an Additive Manufacturing Technician. That’s fancy talk for a 3D Printer. As the plans to sell some printers and the accompanying software came about at the company I was working for, I saw a huge weakness in the product, the controller software, and decided to take matters into my own hands. I learned the basics of Adobe XD over a weekend and created a clickable prototype of the experience the users, me and my team, really wanted to use. That following Monday at our stand up, I presented my redesign and it quickly spread around the office. Without knowing what UX meant or any of the processes behind it were, I found myself deep in that world. That’s where it all began for me and I cannot wait to see what lies ahead.

I really love sketching and putting the pen to paper. Recently I have started taking that in a different direction by taking on the DailyUI Challenge. This project has been a great way to keep my skills sharp and growing. This gallery will continue to grow and be a showcase of some of my favorite designs.
1/250TH OF A SECOND.
1/250 is my most commonly used shutter setting and all the time it takes to capture these images. I have a strong passion for street photography, macro shots, and that good good wet stuff. I found my love for this style of photography when I had a 4 day work week and a long weekend every week. This gave me the chance to travel the golden state to find the best beaches, coolest people and the most incredible forests I’ve ever experienced.

Games have played a huge role in my life and continue to influence me on the daily. I have spent the last 21 years of my life as a Magic: the Gathering player. I am very proud of being a certified judge for the game and my influence on my local community. I spent many long days working at the game store to create a welcoming environment for anyone who wanted to jam some games. When I am not shuffling up one of my many red decks you can find me playing games like Monster Hunter: Rise when I am on the grind for cool weapons and armor, or TF2 or Overwatch when I want to do some fast paced shoot ‘em ups. Oh yeah, you can call me Spaghetti. That’s my handle just about everywhere.
